Synopsis:
«SASHATANYA» is a story about the life of a young family. The heroes of the old «Univer» Sasha and Tanya graduated from university. Now they have completely different concerns. The principled Sasha flatly refuses financial help from his father — Rublev oligarch Sylvester Andreevich. Sasha’s reality is an apartment in a high-rise building on the outskirts of the city, working as an errand boy in an office, a housewife wife, a crying child and living from paycheck to paycheck.

My first big project. My first love
I got the job thanks to my friend, cinematographer Yura Korobeinikov. Apparently, the producers were struggling with a director who couldn’t quite deliver the comedy they envisioned. Yura told them, «You need someone who gets comedy? I know just the guy!»
One week later, I was on set directing my first shoot. Despite all the challenges, I made sure the humor and energy were spot-on. The show became a huge hit, and I built my reputation as «the director who knows comedy.»
